Please make sure you WATCH the Video and READ the Article as they contain DIFFERENT INFORMATION and both are extremely relevant to your getting what you want in life!
The most important question you will answer in your life is “Who am I?” In truth this is a question you must keep asking yourself throughout your life. The answer to that question will determine the quality of your life, the amount of happiness, love, success and wealth you will enjoy (or lack)! The answer to that question will automatically produce your results in life.
In reality it’s a life-long process of growth because as you expand your answer and you achieve something you once thought impossible, you begin to believe you can be more and do more, so you expand more quickly. Always remember that success is a journey, not a destination.
You and I will always act in accordance to our identity because we have an innate desire to be consistent with our self-concept. It’s part of the unconscious conditioning created by those who raised us. People who are consistent are viewed as trustworthy, honest, congruent, strong, powerful, reliable, people of integrity, secure—all very desirable characteristics that we admire. We’ll do just about anything to be consistent with our identity. Even to the point of destructive behavior.
Many of our behaviors began for ridiculous reasons. Why do people start smoking, for example? Is it because cigarettes taste good? Most of us who have smoked began at a young age in order to seem older, to be cool, to be with it, to fit in. We kept smoking because it became part of our identity and even when we eventually realized the destructiveness of our behavior, we found it difficult if not impossible to quit.
Discover Who You Are
So, if I were to ask you right now, Who Are You? How would you define who you are?
Most of the time when I ask people who they are, I’ll get a blank stare or a vague statement: I am who I am.
Sometimes people will describe themselves by their occupation. I’m a doctor, a businessman or woman, an engineer, a housewife, a mother.
Others will answer based on their dominant emotions or values. I’m a loving person, I’m an intellectual, or I’m a giver. Few people have taken the time to fully define and discover the beliefs they have about who they are.
To many people it’s a scary thing because they know they are exhibiting behaviors they don’t like. They are afraid of finding out who they really are for fear they won’t like themselves.
Take a few minutes, be honest with yourself and write your answer(s) to the question, “Who are you?” Understand that in discovering this, you will in no way become more bound by it. On the contrary, you can now find a way to be liberated from it.
If you’re having a little trouble coming up with answers, then answer this: If I went to some of the people who know you best and asked them who you are, how would they describe you? The odds are those answers actually depict who you truly think you are, because we tend to project our beliefs on other people. Answer this honestly, because you’ll start to get a clear picture of who you believe yourself to be right now.
Write down who you really think you are. Don’t be afraid, because it’s only by knowing where you are right now that you can begin to define where you want to be and make decisions as to who you need to be in order to achieve your goals and dreams. The more honest you are with yourself, even if it’s painful right now, the easier it will be to change. Trust me when I say a little bit of self-directed pain right now is better than the pain you’ll experience for the rest of your life from not changing. So do this now!!!
In the next article in our series we will learn how to begin to change your self-concept by choice and attract more of what you want in life and get you on the road to achieving your dreams! Until then…

Today you hear a lot of talk about raising your consciousness in order to be more successful or peaceful or happy or joyful, but what does that really mean? What is consciousness anyway? It actually means to be aware of something, to understand it and to know it.
When I first started learning about Universal Law I was unconscious. I had a victim mentality and didn’t realize I was attracting unwanted experiences. As you’ll remember from a previous article what most people don’t understand is that every thing is really two things. It is the thing you desire and the absence or lack of it. In life you get what you think about and believe is yours consistently, not what you want (which implies lack of it). I was misusing the Law of Cause and Effect and suffering the consequences.
Have you ever wondered what God has to do with success or business? Many people have criticized me for talking so much about God in business and about being the key to all success. This is really not a religious concept because as the creating power in the Universe, God, Infinite Mind or Source Energy is present in all of its creation as potential power. It shows itself when we give it expression through our thoughts and actions. It is this power, which produces all results, and you cannot separate yourself from it no matter how hard you try!
