[/ninja-popup]Welcome to Your Unlimited Life. I’m Carlos Marin, author of The Ultimate Success Formula, and I got something interesting to talk to you about today. The other day I was talking to a group of people and somebody said, “Hey Carlos, what do you think about the economy and the global situation today? I mean, with everything that’s going on, how can anyone get ahead with everything going on in the world and the economy today?” Look, I got to be honest with you, I know there’s problems. I don’t agree with the government spending money they don’t have, printing money, going to war, and all that kind of stuff. I’m in total disagreement with all of that. Frankly, when I look at the world today, I think we’re living in the most exciting times in history. Man has evolved to such an incredible point that it’s just amazing.
I’ve said this before, and I’m going to say it again: I believe that the future of the world is not in the hands of government, politicians, but rather in the hands of entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs have always been the major creators of change in the world and in history. They are right now, and they will be in the future. I see super exciting times. We live in a world that is just bursting with opportunity. If you stop and think about it, the advances in technology today have just turned this world upside down. Everything is a two-edged sword, everything has two poles and two sides. This tremendous technology also creates tremendous distraction and disruption. It can be used for bad, and it can be used for good. I choose to focus on the good. I choose to focus on what good can come out of things. If you look at the way computer technology (Moore’s law, that computing) is doubling every 12 to 18 months. I mean, just the technology, the size of chip technology, storage capacity, and the bandwidth that’s available today is opening up doors that are unbelievable. I mean, if you just look at the mere fact that right now there are major companies throughout the world (Facebook being one of them) that are looking at and actually deploying and delivering WiFi through satellite, robotics, drones, and even through laser. (Yes, laser.) I mean, the whole population is about to be able to come online is going to double over the next couple of years. We’re going to go from 3 billion people connected to over 6 billion people connected in just the next three or four years. Ladies and gentlemen, that is just absolutely huge.
While you look at the problems that may exist, everybody may secretly choose to look at the dark side of everything. I mean, when you look at the solutions that the people are creating to the worlds’ problems. People say, “We’re running out of oil. What are we going to do?” Well, have you noticed that there is this thing up in the sky, right? This big round yellow ball, and that big round yellow ball is full of energy. That energy has been providing the energy for our corner of the universe for a millennium. We haven’t tapped into that energy because man has chosen to look at oil as the source of energy, and coal, things like that. Today the advances in alternative energy, the advances in solar, the advances in electric cars, it’s amazing the opportunities that are existing out there. People say, “We’re running out of food.” Well guess what? They’ve invented this stuff called vertical farming. They’re actual growing crops, organic crops, in warehouses in places like (of all places) Chicago, Illinois, where they’re growing crops vertically instead of horizontally. They’re growing absolutely organic, pesticide-free, herbicide-free, creating greater good for mankind.
There are a lot of people that are focused on saving the planet, saving the atmosphere. I think it’s amazing. There’s so much opportunity: artificial intelligence, robotics is creating a whole field saving lives. We could go on and on and on and on, and all this technology for the entrepreneur is creating platforms for people to be able to market their goods and services globally for virtually no money. Anybody with a laptop + internet connection can sell goods and services throughout the world. Even without a laptop, somebody with a Smartphone and an internet connection can sell goods and services throughout the world. Do I see a lack of opportunity? No! Let me remind you of something. Let me remind you that in the 1930s, the Great Depression occurred, and during the Great Depression there were more millionaires created than ever in the history of the world up until that point. Now, some people are saying out there that we’re going to have a depression or deflation greater than the Great Depression. You know what? I think that more millionaires will come if we do. I think more millionaires will come out of it than ever before in history. I think more millionaires and the statistics are proving it, are being created today than any time in history ever before. The entrepreneurs are standing up, they’re fixing the problems. Just remember one thing, any time that there’s a problem, the person who finds a solution to the problem makes great rewards, right? The bigger the problem is, the better the solution is, the greater the reward is. Everything is two things, and it’s all in the way that you look at things.
Remember, it’s all the way you look at things. Perspective is everything. Always and all times, somebody is always making money. No matter what’s going on, somebody’s always making money. Is it going to be you or is it going to be the other guy? Think about this: entrepreneurs who are focused on finding solutions to problems and helping people to achieve their dreams, goals, and their aspirations always make money. There will always be a place for people who are solving other peoples’ problems and helping people to see the bigger picture and to see the greater good in the world. Are you going to be a part of the problem, or are you going to be a part of the solution? That’s the bottom line. See, somebody is always making money. There’s plenty of opportunity in the world today. If you want to succeed and have greater wealth, happiness and joy in your life, all you’ve got to do is start looking at every problem as the seed of an opportunity. Start looking at the solutions to problems, not the problems. Stop making excuses as to why you can’t, and just go after it. You deserve success. You deserve greatness. You were put here to succeed. You are here to expand and express ever-greater levels of life, love, and beauty. You have infinite potential within you right now. All you’ve got to do is access it, put it to work in your life, and you can achieve your dream life.
